The Man and the Partridge

One day, a partridge which was very hungry wondered into a trap.

The man who had set the trap soon came up and caught the partridge.

The man was very happy and thought ," I shall cook a delicious dinner for my children tonight."

The partridge was very unhappy and begged the man to let it go.

It said," If you will set me free, I will lead all my friends into your trap. Then you shall have many partridges to eat."

The man replied, " If you will do that, then you surely deserve to die. You are such a wicked bird to want to do such a dreadful thing".

So, he took the partridge home for dinner.

The moral of the story is , " No one trust those who try to get out of trouble by getting their friends into trouble. "
